Since then I have been practising yoga approaching a variety of styles, flavours and colours, always finding the beauty of the Asanas and peace on pranayama.
In 2016 after completing my Bachelor of Arts in dance and performance, I started my yoga teacher journey traveling to Bali, Indonesia joining yogis from all around the world together to complete 200 hours of yoga teacher training.
My teaching focus is on building a strong foundation of alignment and developing body intelligence and awareness through the breath. Students will be challenged in both strength and flexibility but always in a kind way, they will also get all the benefits of this spiritual science by being awakened to their highest potential.
I truly believe that Yoga can transform lives and its powers and benefits are limitless.

He wraps his unique ethos into his practice which he has coined as “Holistic Training”. “Majority of personal trainers focus on the physical aspect of their client”. Our approach is a path towards transformation and upliftment. We achieve these heights through holistic healing. By adhering to a living of right consumption and right action you attain righteousness. Consumption is not only what you eat but what you hear, see, smell, feel, and think. All of these are consumption because they enter within your being. These principles combined with doing work on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level gives you “Holistic Training”.

Maria is originally from Norway, but left for the big wide world at the tender age of 16 to pursue her dream of becoming a professional dancer. After graduating from both The Royal Swedish Ballet School in Stockholm and Central School of Ballet in London, she landed herself a job with Northern Ballet Theatre based in Leeds. She always had a passion for travelling and although she got to travel a lot with this touring company, she didn’t get to see much as most days were spent inside the theatres. She decided to take a break from dancing to see more of this world and what life had to offer. She spent some time in India, Cambodia, Thailand, Bali and Indonesia.
On her return, she did a lot of different jobs, before finding her passion again with teaching yoga. She teaches a Dynamic Vinyasa Flow that focuses on breathing and correct alignment, offering variations for all levels. You will not only tone up and break sweat, but also feel a sense of ease after her class.

Michelle has continued to teach Yoga in between having her four children. Yoga has helped her tremendously throughout her life as a full time Mum and has become an essential part of her everyday life.
In 2007 – 2008 Michelle continued to study and was certified as a Hypnotherapist and a NLP Practitioner & Master Practitioner. Becoming a life coach (alongside teaching yoga) has lead her to incorporate Yoga with the NLP and Hypnosis as a new innovative way to help people to shift through current issues and setbacks and is at present devising a unique new way of teaching Yoga incorporating all of her learnings.
Michelle loves to share her knowledge and is passionate about bringing yoga to teenagers who are so responsive to it’s many benefits. She teaches from the heart, adapting and working with the energy flow of each group of students. Breathing is an integral part of her teaching and although her style of teaching is Hatha based she sometime incorporates other styles of yoga in her classes. Michelle teaches a gentle class which can also be challenging as she gives her students an opportunity to increase their stretch if they wish to. “Yoga is such a unique and beautiful way to connect with yourself…”

I joined The Herne Hill Harriers Club and trained at the Crystal Palace running track. I ran distances of 100m, 200m, and 400m – all of which suited my athletic capability and style. I competed in the southern area championships and the London Youth Games regularly.
In 1981 I met and started training with Keith Morgan, a renowned powerlifting coach for the UK. With his assistance I developed my performance on olympic lifts, the deadlift, the snatch, and the clean and press.
As my performance improved I was entered into inter-club competitions and regional meetings.
My martial arts journey started when I went to a local karate
club and signed up for membership. Ten years later , I achieved my Shodan (black belt). I went on to gain two other black belts in different styles namely Jeet Kune Do and Kali.
Jeet Kune Do is a martial art created by Bruce Lee’s covering his fighting concepts.
Kali is a Filipino martial art which teaches weaponry first, followed by Empty Hand and Kick skills.
There is an emphasis on flowing from one technique to another, thus preparing the mind and body for sudden changes in combat.
I entered the Fitness Industry in 2000 and a few years later, I gained my Personal Trainer award. I have worked for many fitness gyms, outdoors, and clients’ premises.
I like to blend my experiences of the different disciplines I have been taught and apply them as appropriate to anyone that trains with me.
I specialise in weight loss, strength, core stability, flexibility, and rehabilitation.
I also teach self-protection, weapon defence, boxing, kickboxing, control and restraint techniques.
I engage in continuous learning, as it improves my performance as a trainer and keeps me open to new experiences.
